c) Frying process
The fryer is equipped with a safety cut-out switch (12). The fryer can only be used when the lid is
fully closed. The fryer will turn off automatically if the lid is opened during use.
Fire hazard! Do not touch hot parts.
1.
Connect the mains plug (1) to a suitable mains socket. You will hear a beep and the power button
will flash (standby mode).

Turn on the fryer by touching the power button

The fryer will switch back to standby mode after three minutes if you do not enter any settings.

Press the power button

The maximum time (60 minutes) and temperature (200 °C) will be displayed alternately on the display.
4.
Choose an operating mode. Refer to the information in the "Operating modes" section.
4.1. Enter the desired settings for the selected mode.
4.2. Start the frying process.
5.
Your food will start to cook. Fat and juices will drip into the frying pan.
6.
If you want to turn over the food in the frying basket, interrupt the cooking process by pressing
START/STOP.
6.1. Carefully open the lid and beware of escaping hot steam. Caution! The food will be hot!
6.2. Turn over the food within 3 minutes. The fryer will switch back to standby mode after three minutes.
If the fryer switches back to standby mode, you will need to select the operating mode again.
7.
Close the lid and restart the cooking process by pressing START/STOP.

You will hear 5 beeps when the cooking process is complete (when the timer expires). The motor will
continue to run for a while to cool the fryer down, and the fryer will switch back to standby mode.
9.
Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after the motor switches off.
10. Carefully open the lid until it clicks into place. Caution! Beware of hot steam!
11. Remove the frying basket and put it on a heatproof surface (e.g. ceramic plate). Remove the food with
a suitable kitchen utensil. You can also shake the food directly into a bowl or onto a plate.

Only use cooking utensils made of heatproof plastic or wood.

Attention! Metal cooking utensils will scratch the non-stick coating on the frying basket and frying
pan.

Fire hazard! Be careful not to move the handle lock by accident when holding the frying basket.
The handle will collapse and the food will spill onto the floor.
12. Let the hot air fryer cool down to room temperature before cleaning it.
