MIST
"MIST" button can be operated separately, or worked together with the fan. This function
will create cool wind. If the mist function is used separately, it can increase humidity in
the air. After pressing the "MIST" button, mist will disperse from the mist plate.
To switch it off, press the "MIST" button again.
(Remote Control must be aimed at the infra-red port when using it. If the remote control
doesn't work, check the inside battery, and change the batteries if needed.)
Notes:
Change the batteries with the same type that was used previously. Otherwise
your remote control may not operate properly.
Remove the batteries out of the remote control if you won't use the remote control for a
long time. Remaining batteries may damage your remote control

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable.
Do not open or change any parts by yourself except to oil the unit. Please refer to
a qualified electrical service department or return to the supplier if servicing is
necessary.
Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. Ensure that the fan and humidifier are off before unplugging
the unit.
The body of the fan should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not let water enter
the motor or the body of the unit.
The water tank and plastic tube must be cleaned every two weeks when in
regular use. Remove the water tank as directed above, carefully pull the pipe out
of the mist cask (the tower that sits below the water tank), remove the mist cask
and clean both well.
Using a dry cloth, absorb all the water, and use a mild detergent to remove any
scale build-up. Replace the mist cask, insert the pipe into the mist cask, and
replace the water tank.
Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your fan as it
can be damaging to the finish.
Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a running tap
to clean.
To remove stubborn spots/marks, wipe the surfaces with a cloth slightly
dampened in soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry a clean,
dry, soft cloth.
