We are glad to count you among CHARLIE's customers.
Our Concordia watches are under a 2 year warranty that covers all manufacturing and material defects.
If there is a noted defect during this period, the watch will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge.
Please note the warranty does not cover:
• The natural wear and tear of your strap: depending on your use, it can last from a few months
up to a few years.
• Any damage caused by water.
• Any damage or defect resulting from a shock or from abrasion. A broken glass and scratches
can only be caused by abnormal use of the watch.
• Normal wear and tear of the watch: alteration in colors, peeling of the plating... Please avoid all
contact with chemicals (beauty creams, perfumes...).
• The magnetization of the movement, affecting the accuracy of the watch.
• Pulled-off crowns, even when unintentional. Our watches are delicate objects, please be mindful
when manipulating them.
• Watches handled or repaired by a non-authorized person.

AUTOMATIC WATCH INSTRUCTIONS
• Have your watch serviced every 5 years.
• Do not change the date when the hour hand is between 9pm and 3am.
• If the watch stopped, rewind it manually before wearing it.
• Do not rewind manually your watch while wearing it.
• Remove your watch during violent sporting activities.
• Keep away from magnetic fields (magnetic doors, induction hobs, electronic devices, medical
devices, etc.).
WATER RESISTANCE GUIDE
The water-resistance of your watch is not eternal and will deteriorate over time, depending on how you
use it. To avoid any accidents, have your water-resistance checked at least every two years, if possible
before the swimming season.
Whatever the water-resistance of the watch, it is not recommended to expose it to hot water (showers,
baths, etc.). Repeated expansion and contraction of the steel case will cause early erosion of the sealing
system.
SCREW-DOWN CROWN
The Concordia collection is designed to withstand very high pressures (30 ATM / 300 meters), which
is impossible to achieve without a screw-down crown to guarantee water resistance. It protects your
watch from air, dust and water.
If the crown is not screwed in, or is screwed in incorrectly, the watch is not water-resistant.
To make sure you don't damage the screw thread or your watch, when screwing it back in, take this
simple precaution: using your thumb and forefinger, press the crown against the screw thread and
turn it downwards («counter-clockwise»). After a moment, you'll hear and feel a «click» which means
that the crown is properly engaged, and you can then screw it back in (clockwise) with peace of mind.
