Introduction
The charger was developed for
charging 6/12 V lead batteries
(including gel batteries).
The charging process is controlled

Charging a battery

1. Set the switch to the "6V" position
if you intend to charge 6V batteries
or to the "12V" position if you intend
to charge 12V batteries.
2. Connect the output cables to the
battery as follows:
• red clamp to (+) on the battery,
7
• black clamp to (–) on the battery.
3. Insert the charger mains adapter
into a 230 V-50 Hz mains socket.
Features
• At the end of the charging process,
the battery voltage is kept constant
and the charging current reduced to
a conservation value.
• Red LED Ø 5 mm as charging
display
• Diode at output to prevent the
battery running down in the event of
power failure.
using the WU curve.
Optimum efficiency and safety are
guaranteed by the automatic charging
stop as soon as the battery is fully
charged, regardless of its initial status.
For this reason, the charger can remain
4. Check that the red LED is lit. This
signalises the beginning of the
charging process.
5. Leave the battery charger
connected until the red LED goes out.
This signalises the end of the charging
process.
6. Remove the mains adapter from
the mains socket.
7. Separate the battery from the
charger.
• Do not expose the charger to humidity
(rain, splashwater).
• NEVER try to charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
connected permanently in order to
keep the charge at 100% without
overcharging or damaging the battery.

• Before beginning the charging process,
check the electrolyte filling level and fill
with distilled water if necessary until the
lead plates are covered. Do not overfill
the battery as otherwise corrosive acid
can escape during the charging process.
NOTE! Potentially explosive gases!
Avoid sparks and open flames.
Only use in well ventilated rooms.
