Set the low pass filter, volume and phase to suit characteristics of

Set power to the " _■*. ON" position.
The unit is now in standby mode and the POWER indicator
turns red.
When a signal is received, the unit turns ON automatically and
the indicator turns green.
The unit automatically switches to standby if a signal is not
received for approximately two (2) minutes.

Set LOW PASS FILTER to a suitable frequency,
refer to "Frequency response by LOW PASS
FILTER setting" on the opposite page.
3 Set VOLUME to a suitable level, refer to
"Frequency response by VOLUME setting" on
the opposite page.

After sampling some music, set PHASE to
" JL
NORMAL" or "
REVERSE", whichever
position allows playback
to
sound normal.
For your reference:
If subwoofer and front speaker phase are the inverse of one
another, they will tend to rub each other out. Playback will not
be normal and sounds will seem muffled.
7 Mettre I'interrupteur a la position "jl ON".
L'appareil est maintenant en mode attente et le voyant POWER
s'allume en rouge.
Lorsqu'un signal est re?u, le contact est btabli automatiquement
sur I'appareil et le voyant s'altume en vert.
L'appareil passe automatiquement en mode attente lorsqu'au*
cun signal n'est re$u pendant environ deux (2) minutes.

Regler le filtre passe-bas (LOW PASS FILTER)
a une frequence approprlee; se reporter au
graphique illustrant la reponse en frequence en
fonction du reglage du filtre.
3 Regler le volume a un niveau approprie; se
reporter au graphique illustrant la reponse en
frequence en fonction du volume.

Faire I'ecoute d'un passage musical et ajuster
le commutateur de phase PHASE a la position
normale " JL NORMAL" ou inverse
"

REVERSE", selon le besoin.
Pour rbfbrence:
Si le commutateur de phase de I'enceinte des extremes-graves
et ceux des enceintes avant sont rbgl6s diff6remment, ils ne
seront pas apparids. La lecture sera perturbbe et les sons
assourdis.
