the RX+L however using this will reduce the charging speed. To access
the USB Port pull back the charging port cover. It is essential to ensure
the charging port cover is pushed back in place properly after the
charging cable has been removed.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT expose the RX+L to rain or water whilst a charging
lead is attached. The unit is designed to be weatherproof only when
the charging port cover is correctly fitted.
Charging time will vary depending on a number of factors including
but not limited to:

Power source type
•
RX+L operational state
•
Temperature
The advanced charging system in the RX+L will constantly evaluate the
available power and conditions to provide the optimum charging time.
Charging is indicated by one or more constantly illuminated battery
indicator LEDs and one slowly flashing LED. As charging progresses,
more of the battery indicator LEDs will illuminate constantly, until only
the fourth LED is flashing. Once all LEDs are illuminated constantly,
charging is complete.
NOTE : IF ALL THE BATTERY INDICATOR LEDS FLASH, WHEN A CHARGING SOURCE
IS CONNECTED, THIS INDICTAES THAT THE BATTERY IS EITHER OVER OR UNDER
TEMPERATURE AND CHARGING IS INHIBITED.
Battery Care and Performance
The RX+L is fitted with a 5200mAh lithium-ion battery.
This will offer over 3hrs of continuous use of the white light at maximum
brightness with an ambient temperature of 20°C.
Ambient temperature will affect the performance of the battery and
the RX+L will self-regulate its operation to prevent battery damage. This
includes, but is not limited to, inhibiting charging if the internal
temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C.
The RX+L can be charged whilst in use. However, both the LED panel
and the battery will generate heat during this time and in high ambient
temperatures the RX+L may need to regulate its performance by tem-
porarily stopping charging or temporarily reducing the LED brightness.
NOTE: MAXIMUM LIGHT BRIGHTNESS IS NOT AVAILABLE WHILST CHARGING.
Low Battery Warning
When the RX+L battery is low the radio performance of the unit will be
reduced and the main light output will reduce. To indicate low battery
the single red battery indicator LED will flash.
