7.5. Attaching the mixing bowl with the citrus press

1) Place the drive rod onto the stand
housing.
2) Place the mixing bowl onto the
drive rod and screw it onto the stand
housing in a clockwise direction so
that the handle is then pointing to
the right.
3) Place the citrus press on to the drive
rod so that the catches on the citrus
press engage with the corresponding
slots on the mixing bowl.
 Screw the citrus press onto the mixing
bowl until it closes tightly and the pro-
trusion on the lid is in alignment with
the handle on the mixing bowl. If this is
not done correctly, the safety contact on
the base will not allow operation.

Safety contact on the citrus
press
The food processor cannot be operated if the citrus press is
incorrectly fitted. If incorrectly fitted, the safety contact on the
housing edge will prevent operation.
