If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be bought
separately from the Technical Assistance Service.
USE AND CARE
• Fully extend the appliance's supply cord before each use.
• Do not move the appliance while in use.
• Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or
connected to the mains.
• Do not cover the cooking surface or food with aluminium
foil and other similar materials.
• Do not cover or wrap the food with aluminium foil and
other similar materials.
• To keep the non-stick treatment in good condition, do not
use metal or pointed utensils on it.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use
and before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or
persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack
of experience and knowledge.
• Do not store or transport the appliance if it is still hot.
• Do not store the appliance on areas where the
temperature could be lower than 2ºC.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
• Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if
is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of
the appliance.
• Turning the temperature control knob to the minimum
does not mean that the appliance is switched off
permanently.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE
• Make sure that all the product's packaging has been
removed.
• Please read carefully the "Safety advice and warnings"
booklet before first use
• Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the "Cleaning" section.
• Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased.
Consequently, the first time the appliance is used a light
smoke may be detected. After a short time, this smoke
will disappear.
• To eliminate the smell given off by the appliance when
used for the first time, it is recommended to have it on at
full power for 10 minutes in a well-ventilated room.
USE
• Extend the supply cord completely before plugging it in.
• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• The ON pilot light (C) comes on.
• For the first use it is better to apply some oil or grease to
the plate.
• Turn the temperature regulator (E) to the desired
temperature position.
• The ready pilot light (D) comes on.
• Leave to heat up for a few minutes.
• Wait until the ready pilot light (D) has gone out which
will indicate that the appliance has reached an adequate
temperature.
• During the appliance's use the ready pilot light (D) will
come on and off automatically, indicating the heating
elements are working, and therefore maintaining the
desired temperature.
• To minimise the formation of acrilamida during the
cooking process, avoid dark brown colours on the food.
• When the food is to your taste, remove it from the
appliance with the help of a wooden spatula or similar
heat resistant implement, do not use utensils that could
damage the non-stick coating.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE
• Select the minimum position by using the temperature
regulator (E).
• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Allow to cool down.
• Put the supply cord back in the supply cord housing.
• Clean the appliance.
