STEP 2
1.
Insert a handlebar shaft (# 12A) through the coupler bar (right # 4 and left # 5) and main frame. Then put the
D-shape washer (# 49) and the spring washer (# 52) on both sides and tighten the hinge screw.
NOTE: The coupler bar for each side is different (# 4-right side, # 5-left side). The coupling bar is on
the correct side of the bicycle when its horizontal pivot tube, which is welded on top of the coupler
bar, faces the rear of the machine as seen from the user.

Insert a pedal hinge bolt (# 12BR, # 12BL) through the pedal tubing (# 6R for the right side, # 6L for the
left side). Attach the hinge bolt on the crankshaft (# 27), which is already installed within the main frame,
use WD40 or Vaseline to reduce friction when necessary. Secure the hinge bolt at the other end with a 1/2
"spring washer (# 51), a 1/2" nut (# 48R, # 48L) and a protective cap (# 65).

While assembling this step, hold the parts (# 12BR and #
12BL) as in the correct drawing. The one with an X-mark
is incorrect. The parts (# 12BR and # 12BL) must be
horizontal or can not be put into the crankshaft.
You can see an elastic washer (# 51) on the rim inside
the nut (# 48R and # 48L), the nut must completely
penetrate this spring washer.
Tighten the caps (# 66) with the nuts (# 46) and the bolts
(# 56) on the front section of the pedal tabes (6Land #
6R).
