Power On & Power Off
If the appliance is working, press "HOLD 3 SEC ON/OFF (MAINTENEZ 3 SEC. MARCHE/ARRÊT)"
for 3 seconds to turn off.
If the appliance is off, press "HOLD 3 SEC ON/OFF (MAINTENEZ 3 SEC. MARCHE/ARRÊT)" for 3
seconds to turn on.

High Temperature Alarm

Your chest freezer has a high temperature alarm feature. A light will illuminate and an alarm will sound
if the temperature inside the freezer reaches 15°F or above.
1.First-Start-Up or After-Defrost
When you first start up the freezer or after defrosting, the "HIGH TEMP (TEMP. ÉLEVÉE)" light will
illuminate and the alarm will sound an audible buzzing. This is normal. Press "SET (RÉGLER)" on the
control panel to silence the alarm. And the "HIGH TEMP (TEMP. ÉLEVÉE)" light will turn off automatically
when temperature inside freezer gets below 10°F.
2.Power Fail
If "HIGH TEMP (TEMP. ÉLEVÉE)" light illuminates and the alarm sounds because of abrupt power fail,
and the condition is not acknowledged by pressing "SET (RÉGLER)""SET (RÉGLER)", the alarm will
constantly sound until inside temperature gets below 10°F while "HIGH TEMP (TEMP. ÉLEVÉE)" light
only turns off by pressing "SET (RÉGLER)"(mean to record & show the power failure occurred). With this
reasoning, if you find the "HIGH TEMP (TEMP. ÉLEVÉE)" light illuminates, for health concerns, check the
food inside your freezer.
