Caution!
Wilavest quick must be used with a metal casting ring.
It is not advisable to cast without using a ring!

Mixing the investment material
n
The powder / liquid mixing ratio must be measured exactly. When using a size 1 casting ring, weigh the
powder with digital scales and dispense the Wilavest quick Liquid as well as the distilled water with a
graduated cylinder.
The investment material is mixed in 3 stages:
Spatulate the powder and liquid by hand to produce a homogeneous slurry (approx. 10 seconds).
Apply vacuum to the investment in the vacuum mixer for 15 seconds without mixing
(degasses the investment).
Mix automatically for 60 seconds in vacuum.
Pour the investment material into the metal casting ring on a vibrator running at its lowest setting.
Once the patterns have been covered, switch the vibrator off and fill the rings completely, without vibrating
them.
Caution!
The working time of 4 minutes will be curtailed at room temperatures exceeding 23 °C (73 °F).
We recommend investing without applying pressure!
Place the ring where it is not exposed to vibrations until the investment has set.
Caution!
After approximately 10 minutes, the investment material will have set adequately to allow the top
surface to be trimmed off with a knife so that the gases can escape through it.
