Page 4 Schließen Sie den Ausgang über ein symmetrisches XLR- Kabel an den phantomgespeisten Mikrofoneingang des nachgeschalteten Gerätes an. Sie können gegebenenfalls auf das Kabel verzichten und den MZA 900 P direkt in die XLR-Eingangsbuchse des Gerätes stecken.
Page 5 Befestigen an der Kleidung Mit dem Gürtelclip lässt sich der MZA 900 P unauffällig am Gürtel oder an der Kleidung anbringen. Schaltbare Verstärkung (Vordämpfung) Verstärkung kann 12 dB verringert werden. Das empfiehlt sich, wenn der nach- folgende Mikrofoneingang übersteuert oder der Adapter- ausgang durch das nachfolgen- de Gerät zu stark belastet wird.
Page 6 Betriebszustands- und Übersteuerungsanzeige Der MZA 900 P besitzt eine zweifarbige LED. LED leuchtet grün: Der Adapter wird ordnungs- gemäß mit Strom versorgt und arbeitet übersteuerungsfrei (Normalbetrieb). LED leuchtet rot: Aufleuchten bei hohen Schallpegeln signalisiert Über- steuerung des Mikrofons oder Überlastung des Adapter- ausgangs.
Page 7 Verwendung als Kabelprüfer Der MZA 900 P kann auch als Kabelprüfer für XLR-Mikro- fonkabel verwendet werden. Hierfür ist der Anschluss ei- nes Mikrofons nicht erforderlich. Ein Ende des zu prüfenden Kabels wird an ein Mischpult mit aktivierter Phantomspeisung angeschlossen. Auf das andere Ende des Kabels wird der MZA 900 P aufgesteckt.

Page 12 Output The XLR output of the MZA 900 P together with the back- electret condenser microphone delivers the correct signal phase (an increase in sound pressure in front of the microphone diaphragm causes a positive voltage to appear at pin 2 and a negativ voltage to appear at pin 3).
Page 13 Switchable roll-off filter The roll-off filter allows the MZA 900 P to be adapted to Sennheiser HSP and clip-on microphones. With the roll- off filter switched on ( ), the low-frequency signal portions (below 125 Hz) are attenuated, thus increasing speech intelligibility.

LED lights up in green: The MZA 900 P is properly powered and there is no over- modulation (normal operation).
