place where the new wall has to be fixed against
the existing wall). Use the fine adjustment for a
faster and more precise alignment.
∙ The device shows a perfectly straight line be-
tween the first and the second marking.
Slope function
This device is also capable to project lines under
a slope instead of the perfectly levelled lines (e.g.
in case you tile a floor that needs a slope to evac-
uate water). You can set a slope of maximum 3°.
When using the slope function, it is important to
put the device on the appropriate position. Install
the device with the plumb beam (7) exactly on
the corner of the sloped plane and turn the body
until a vertical laser line is perfectly in parallel with
a side of the plane.
Switch on the device and wait until it is complete-
ly aligned. The central LED light stops blinking
and shows green permanently.
Start the slope function by holding the on/off but-
ton during 3 seconds, until the central LED light
shows permanently red. All horizontal lines and
one vertical line switch on. The slope function is
MULTICROSS 8 MULTICROSS 8
activated.
∙ Remark: Once the slope function is active, the
device does not align anymore.
∙ Remark: Never lay out right corners with the
slope function switched on.
Once the slope function is switched on, the green
lights next to the button "H" (11) and "V" (10)
show green. These LEDs indicate that a slope
can be set along the X-axis.
Hold the button "H" (11) or "V" (10) until you have
reached the required slope.
