ATTENTION – To reduce the risk of
personal injury read these operating
instructions.
ATTENTION – Read all safety
precautions and instructions.
Failure to observe precautions and in-
structions may lead to electric shock,
fire and/or severe physical injury.
Save all safety precautions and instructions
for future use.
Keep your working place clean and well
lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Secure the work-piece to be processed.
Securing the work-piece with clamping fixtures
or in a vice is safer than holding it in your
hand.
Take safety precautions if there is the
possibility that harmful dust may devel-
op during working. Some types of dust e.g.
are considered cancer-causing.
Do not use the machine in explosion-
prone surroundings where flammable
liquids, gases or dusts are stored. Power
tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or the fumes.
Make sure that there are no children or
bystanders around while you are using
the power tool. Distractions may cause you
to lose the control over the power tool.
The connector plug of the power tool must
match the socket. The plug must not be
modified in any way. Do not use adapter
plugs. Unmodified outlets and matching plugs
reduce the risk of electric shock.
Keep the power tool away from rain or
moisture. Any water entering the power tool
increases the risk of electric shock.
Use the cord only for the intended pur-
pose. Never use the cord for carrying,
hanging up or unplugging the power
tool Keep the cord away from heat, oil,
sharp edges and moving parts of equip-
ment. Damaged or entangled cords increase
the risk of electric shock.

For your safety
When working outdoors use an exten-
sion cord which is suitable for outdoor
use. Using the appropriate cord reduces the
risk of electric shock.
If operating a power tool in a damp lo-
cation is unavoidable, use a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) protected supply. Using
an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Always operate a power tool with con-
centration and diligence. Do not oper-
ate a power tool when you are tired
or when you are under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment
of inattention while operating power tools may
lead to serious personal injuries.
ardous to your health (e.g. during the process-
ing of oak, and beech wood, stone, metal,
coats of paint which may contain lead or other
harmful substances). For this reason such dust
should not get into your body. Do not touch or
inhale it.
While working, secure the power tool
with both hands and provide for a firm
stand. Always guide the machine with both
hands.
Prevent unintentional starting. Make
sure that the power tool is switched off
before you connect it to the mains sup-
ply or before you pick it up and carry it.
Any unintentional starting may lead to serious
personal injuries.
Never put down the power tool before it
has come to a complete stop. The rotating
rubber backing pad may come in contact with
the surface and this might cause you to lose the
control over the machine.
Never use a power tool whose switch is
defect. Any power tool which no longer can
be switched on or off is dangerous and must
be repaired.
Wear
personal
protective
equipment such as dust mask
and protective goggles. Wear-

the risk of injuries. The dust gener-
