CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, firstly disconnect the power outlet
and let the appliance cool down.
1. Wipe flakes and any other deposits on the soleplate
with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
Note: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive
cleaners to scrape the soleplate.
2. Clean the upper part of iron with a soft damp cloth.
Wipe the water drops on the unit base and the
thermal insulation stand with a dry cloth.
3. To remove the mineral deposits collecting at inner
steam generator, follow the operation as below:
firstly reverse the unit base and place it on a level
surface horizontally, make sure that the unit base
shall be placed stably, then cover a towel on the knob
and rotate the knob with the towel to detach it, after
it, drain the steam generator, finally, refill the steam
generator with clean water and then empty the water
in the steam generator, repeat the operation of
cleaning the steam generator for 2-3 times to clean it
