The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

operAtIon - Before use for the first time
When using the jug kettle for the first time boil three jugs of water, and dispose of the boiled water.
tip:
You can use vinegar or special descaling agents for the first time.
operAtIon - Boiling water or heating to the desired temperature
1. Turn the jug so that the spout (13) faces away from you.
2. Open the lid (2).
3. F ill the jug with the required quantity of water (at least 0.5 litres, and a maximum of 1.7 litres). Never fill
the water boiler over the "max" (10). Otherwise the hot water can spatter out of the base.
Make sure that you do not spill any water.
4. Close the lid (1) by pressing it down until it clicks into position.
5. I nsert the plug (7) in the wall socket. The jug will beep twice, the LEDs (9) will flash red, green and blue
and the Temperature indicators (4) will flash shortly.
6. P ush the On/off switch 100°C (6). The jug will beep once, the colour indicator LEDs inside the jug will
light up red and the water will now begin to heat to 100°C.
7. S elect a lower temperature by pushing the Temperature selection button – + (5) until the the Temperature
indicator of your desired temperature lights up. The colour indicator LEDs will change to green (50°C),
blue (70°C), purple (80°C), or light green (90°C), depending on the selected temperature.
8. T he jug kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water has reached the selected
temperature. The jug will beep twice and the colour indicator LEDs will extinguish.
9. Remove the jug by the handle (3), and pour the water out.
Be carefull you do not contact the hot water. It can cause serious burning wounds.
10. Remove the plug from the wall socket when you have finished using the jug kettle.
