The product is used to detect propane, butane, acetylene and methane gas. Activation of a LED
and a warning sound signal the presence of these gas types.
The operation of the product requires two batteries of the type AAA/Micro (not included, can
be ordered separately).
Any use other than described above may damage the product, there may also be other dangers.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions. Keep the operating instructions. If you pass the device on to a third party, please
pass on these operating instructions as well.
Any use other than as described above is not permitted and can damage the product. In addi-
tion, it can lead to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, etc.

Damage due to not following these operating instructions will void the warran-
ty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,
the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted for
safety and approval reasons (CE). Never open/dismantle it (except as described in
these operating instructions for inserting/replacing the batteries).
• The manufacturer is not responsible for incorrect displays or measured values and
any consequences which may arise thereof.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Leaking gas can form an explosive mixture together with oxygen. There is an
explosion and fire hazard during the actual measurement and also in the vicinity of
gas leaks!
• The product must not get damp or wet. Do not expose the product to direct sun-
light, strong heat, strong cold, or dust/dirt; otherwise it may be damaged.
• Do not use the product as monitoring device for your personal safety.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• When the product is taken from a cold room to a warm room (e.g., during trans-
port), condensation may be produced. This could damage the product. Therefore,
wait until the product has reached room temperature before using it. This may take
several hours.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.

Never touch the sensor. Never immerse the sensor in or under water or similar.
If the battery voltage is sufficient, the 3 LEDs will now start flashing successively (like a run-
ning light). When the gas leak tester has completed the self-test after about 12 seconds, it
will emit a sound and the "POWER" LED is illuminated continuously.
The gas leak tester is now ready for operation.
If the batteries are low, the "POWER" LED flashes and the gas leak tester switches
off after a few seconds. Replace the old batteries with new ones in this case.
