Use and Care Guide
Plug the induction cooktop into a 120V electrical outlet that is not operating
another appliance. Unit will "beep" and function lights will flash and then turn off.
Display window will flash "---" and the ON/OFF button will flash indicating the
unit is plugged in. Press the ON/OFF button once to turn the unit on. The ON/OFF
button and display will illuminate. Unit is now ready for use. Place an induction-
compatible cooking utensil on the cooktop before selecting cooking function.
Heating Function
Press the HEATING button. The display will illuminate and begin heating at
300°F/150°C. To adjust temperature, press the + or – buttons.
Frying Function
Press the FRYING button. The display will illuminate and heat at 420°F/215°C. To
adjust temperature, press the + or – buttons. Note: Preheating your cookware will
take a much shorter time than with conventional ranges.
Timing Function
The maximum time the timer can be activated is for 9 hours 59 minutes. The
Timer function can be activated at any time during heating or frying operations.
To activate, press the TIMER button. The display will read 0:15 with the 0 flashing.
Press the + or – button to change the hour setting, then press the TIMER button to
change the minute setting. With the 15 flashing, use the + or – button to change
the desired countdown time. After 5 seconds the time will be selected. Toggle
between the temperature and timing display by pressing either the HEATING,
FRYING or TIMER button. When the desired cooking time is reached, the unit will
beep 5 times, the function light will flash once, and heating will stop. If there is no
action for 5 minutes, the power to the induction cooktop will turn off.
Be sure to unplug and carry out these operations after the unit has cooled. Never
submerge the unit in water or directly under tap water. Wipe the cooktop and
body with a damp dishcloth. Tough stains can be removed using a powder or
liquid cleanser.
