Use and Care Guide
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. DO NOT touch hot surfaces.
3. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug, or
induction cooktop in water or in other liquid.
4. Check that the power rating of the induction cooktop does in fact match that
of your household electrical wiring system.
5. It is essential that the induction cooktop is connected to a grounded socket.
6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
7. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow unit to cool
completely before cleaning and storing.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or which has
been malfunctioning or damaged in any manner. Contact your nearest
authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment.
9. DO NOT use outdoors.
10. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil
or other hot liquids.
13. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn the unit off, then remove plug from wall outlet.
14. Persons using a pacemaker must consult a physician before using this item.
15. DO NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
16. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
17. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, connect to properly
grounded outlets only.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Your safety is our concern. Be sure to observe the following to prevent
malfunction that may cause an accident:
• DO NOT attempt to repair induction cooktop. Contact your dealership
for service.
• Please put the induction cooktop on a horizontal counter. Keep away from
wall or other items at least 4" (10 cm).
• Use only one unit per electrical outlet to avoid circuit overload.
• DO NOT use induction cooktop in high humidity, or near heat sources.
• DO NOT operate with an empty cooking utensil.
• DO NOT put knife, fork, spoon, cookware lid, or aluminum foil on the
induction cooktop, as they may be heated.
