Thank you for selecting the Fender Passport UHF Wireless System. Fender's
Passport® brand of products are known for their portability, ease of use,
innovative design, exceptional quality and value. We think you will find the
same qualities in your new Passport UHF Wireless System. Before operating
the Passport UHF Wireless System, please read this instruction manual
thoroughly and familiarize yourself with the features and operation of your
new system components.
Systems
The Passport UHF Wireless Handheld System
Contains a handheld UHF wireless microphone (transmitter) and custom-
designed multi-channel UHF docking receiver.
The Passport UHF Wireless Executive System
Contains a UHF belt-pack transmitter, a deluxe lavaliere microphone, a deluxe
headset microphone, an instrument cable, and a custom-designed multi-
channel UHF docking receiver.
An additional transmitter may be purchased separately to compliment either
system. Consult your Fender dealer for details and options.
Setting Up
Unpacking
Your Passport Wireless system (or accessory) was packed with care at
the factory. The shipping carton was designed to protect it during initial
shipment. Please retain this carton in the unlikely event that you need to
return your Passport Wireless for servicing.
Remove the Docking Receiver and the transmitter (either Handheld or Belt-
pack) from their respective packaging and check that nothing is missing
and/or damaged from shipping.
Pre-Installation
The Passport Wireless Systems and accessories are custom designed to work
with "wireless ready" Passport Sound Systems. "Wireless Ready" Passport
Sound Systems have a "docking connector" in their rear storage compartment.
This is very easy to identify as "non-wireless ready" Passports have nothing
in their storage compartments.
