Range of uses
BOJ work lamps are designed to provide
a non-dazzling, general illumination of
a work site. Each lamp holder has two
outlets to facilitate coupling lamps in a
chain. There is also an outlet for
connecting, e.g. hand, machine tools.
The bulb is of low energy type with a
very long burning life: (8 –10,000/h)
23W equal to 120W incandescent bulb,
30W approx. 150W or 42W approx.

Safety
BOJ is approved for use in dry or damp
conditions and can safely be placed on
inflammable surfaces.
Installation
BOJ has a retractable hook which makes
it easy to hang the lamp from ceilings or
walls. With the hook retracted the lamp
can be stood on a bench, the floor or
fitted to a stand, (fig 2).

BOJ can be installed as a chain lighting at
a maximum height of 3m.
With lamps at 4 m intervals the general
illumination will be raised to 100 lux.
The shade can be protected from dust
and paint splashes with a plastic bag,
(fig 3).
Electrical installation
BOJ is supplied with 6 m of
rubber coated cable for connecting to
an earthed outlet.
A maximum of 40 x 42W, 60 x 30W
or 80 x 23W lamps may be connected
to a 10 A fuse.

from production faults during five
year from date of purchase.
