Introduction

Thank you for choosing our Auronic product! Please always follow the instructions for safe usage. If you

The Auronic Glue Gun is perfect for hobbyists and crafters and comes with 50 glue sticks. From ceramics
to electronics, with this Glue Gun you can glue almost everything. You do not have to hassle with batte-
ries or power packs. Plug the power cord (1,5 m) into the socket and you can start your project within 3-5
minutes. The energy consumption is only 20W and thereby very energy-efficient.
Warnings and Safety Instructions
Please ensure that the packaging is kept out of the reach of children! Risk of suffocation!

General
-
Be aware of the risks and consequences resulting from misuse of the Glue Gun. Misuse of the Glue Gun
can result in personal injury, or destruction of the device and of the installations.

Use the Glue Gun only for purposes described in this user manual.

If the Glue Gun malfunctions, is dropped or (appears to be) damaged in any manner, do NOT use the
-
Glue Gun and contact Customer Service.

The Glue Gun is designed and intended for private, non-commercial use only.
-
Only use the Glue Gun indoors.
-
Do NOT leave the Glue Gun unattended when in use. When you are not using the Glue Gun, turn the
device off and disconnect the device from the power socket.
-
The Glue Gun uses hot glue (up to 200°C). Do not touch the glue and the nozzle while using the device
to avoid burns. Wait until the glue and the nozzle are completely cooled down before you touch them to
avoid burns.

Let the Glue Gun cool down on a safe place after you have used it. Make sure the Glue Gun is complete-
ly cooled down before you store it.

Always wear safety glasses when you use the Glue Gun to protect your eyes.

Do not pull the glue stick from the back of the Glue Gun. If there is any leftover glue in the gun, finish
that before you put in another glue stick in the Glue Gun.

Make sure to always point the nozzle downwards. Do not hold the Glue Gun horizontally and do not
point it upwards when you are using it. Do not point the Glue Gun at yourself or other people.

Place the Glue Gun on the safety stand in between glueing different things. NEVER place the Glue Gun
on its side.

Do NOT disconnect the Glue Gun from its power supply by pulling the cable.
-
Do NOT carry or pull the device by its cable.

Make sure that you do NOT trip over the cable. The cable should not be kinked, trapped or twisted. Do
not hang the Glue Gun by the cable.

Keep the power cord away from hot objects, oil, sharp edges and moving parts to avoid damages and
personal injury.

Smoke can emit from the Glue Gun the first time you use it. This is normal and will stop after a few mo-
ments. If a lot of smoke emits from the device, unplug the device immediately and place the Glue Gun in
a well-ventilated area.
Persons and Use

This device should NOT be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disa-
bilities, or persons (including children) with lack of experience with and knowledge of the device, unless
they are supervised or have been given instruction concerning the use by a person responsible for their
safety.

Keep the Glue Gun away from children and pets when using and storing. Make sure children and pets
do NOT play with the Glue Gun and do NOT touch the hot glue.
Electronics
-
Do NOT reconstruct, repair or disassemble the Glue Gun. This can damage the device. For safety
reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorized service personnel. In order to prevent hazards,
always send the Glue Gun to the service centre for repairs.

Make sure your outlet supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the Glue Gun.
-
Always check the power cord and plug before using the Glue Gun. Do NOT operate the Glue Gun if the
cord or plug are damaged. A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by a qualified person in order to
avoid damages and personal injuries.

Do NOT use the Glue Gun in or near a bath, shower, swimming pool, or over a basin filled with water.

Make sure to prevent any contact with water. Do NOT submerge the Glue Gun in water. If water does
get inside the casing, turn the Glue Gun off immediately and contact our customer service.

Do NOT operate the device with damp or wet hands and do NOT touch the power cord with damp or
wet hands.
-
If the power fails during usage, turn off the Glue Gun immediately and pull the plug from the socket.
-
Keep the Glue Gun away from moisture, heat and in or close to areas where the surrounding temperatu-
re is relatively hot (e.g. stoves or other sources of heat).

Do NOT cover the Glue Gun when it is switched on. Never put blankets or cushions on top of or against
the Glue Gun. This poses a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.

The Glue Gun is protected against overheating. The Glue Gun will stop automatically after 15 minutes
of non-stop use. Pull the power plug from the socket and wait until the Glue Gun is completely cooled
down before you use it again.
