The laundry must be properly spun beforedrying.

The drying time and consequently the energy
consumption depend on:
– the type of laundry;
– quantity of laundry;
– washing machine spin speed;
– temperature of the room housing the dryer.
FUNCTIONING
To open the door hold it by the handle and pull it outwards.
Before performing the drying cycle:
1. Make sure that the plug is in the socket.
2. Make sure that the filter is in place.
3. Put the spun laundry into the drum without pushing it
together.
4. Make sure that no foreign bodies have been put in by
mistake.
5. Close the door.
At this point you can set the drying time required as follows:
– Turn the TIMER knob (1) clockwise to the drying time
required.
– Press the ON/OFF button (3) to start the machine.
The drying cycle starts and the voltage pilot lamp (on the
models provided with it)lights on.
When the drying time you selected is elapsed, the cooling
phase begins (it lasts 10 min.), allowing the laundry to get
gradually cooler. At the end of the cooling phase the timer
knob stops on the STOP position.

To select the programmes follow the indications given
by the laundry manufacturer carefully, particularly for
synthetic fibres or fibres which are damaged by too high
temperatures.
Ten minutes before the programme ends the ventilation with
cold air starts. This phase can also be used in other cases
as well as drying such as removing a persistent smell (e.g.
moth repellents).

Before closing the loading door, turn the drum to check that
small items are not still inside.
If at the end of the drying cycle the laundry is still slightly
wet, set an additional drying time .
After each drying cycle don't forget to clean the cup-
shaped filter.
