1 Général
This sensor is used to measure currents of from 0 to 50 mA using the VTT
system, with two measuring ranges.
The measurements are performed via an input with safety banana jacks.
2 Operation
2.1 VTT system
This sensor is used in conjunction with the VTT console.
2.2 Sensor connection onto the VTT console
The sensor is connected by means of the connector at the rear of the housing:
- Align the sensor with the selected measurement channel.
- Slide the sensor onto the guiding system in the console.
- Follow the guiding system of the VTT console.
- Push fully home.
2.3 Scale
Depending on the range selector setting, the following ranges are available:
- One measuring scale of 0–20 mA.
- One measuring scale of 0–50 mA.
2.4 Measurement type
The sensor measures the instantaneous value of the current.
2.5 Preparation for operation
- Connect the sensor.
- Select the appropriate range via the selector switch.
- Power up the VTT console.
