WAYS OF WORKING:
After checking that the equipment is fitted up
with a fi lter cartridge, connect the fl exible hose to
the inlet. Insert either the two rigid pipes or the
double use brush to the opposite end, or one of
the accessories supplied with. Push the suitable
switch to start the vacuum cleaner up.
For the model LEO E without fi lter cartridge
it is absolutely necessary to have both the
paper bag and the sponge fi lter. Without paper
bag the dust may pass through the sponge
and reach the motor, which may result in the
motor burning.
IMPORTANT REMARKS ABOUT THE
VERSIONS:
EQUIPMENT WITH FULL BAG WARNING
LIGHT
The warning light signals that the collecting bag
is full. When the light is on you must immediately
replace the bag and eventually clean the filter
cartridge.
Do not use the equipment continuously
when the warning light is on.
The equipment may overheats thus causing
serious damages to the motor.
ATTENTION:
When the equipment is used for the
suction on particularly soft surfaces, as for
example carpets, sofas, moquettes and so
on, the warning light may switch on even
though the bag is not full yet. In this case
it is enough to remove the accessory from
the surface and the light will turn off.
EQUIPMENT WITH ADDITIONAL SOCKET
The socket is usually used to connect the carpet
cleaner.
ATTENTION:
The maximum power used must not exceed
250W.
Do not connect accessories having a higher
power. Danger of electric shocks and fi re
of the equipment!
EQUIPMENT WITH THERMAL PROTECTION
OF THE MOTOR
The thermal protection fi tted on the motor works in
case of dangerous overheating of the motor and of
the equipment itself. The motor stops automatically
at any time when the temperature exceeds the
power set by the manufacturer.
ATTENTION:
This device usually works in case of
obstruction of:
* dust collecting bag
* cartridge fi lter
* fl exible hose/accessory
After disconnecting the vacuum cleaner
from the electric plug, and cleaning the
above mentioned components, the vacuum
cleaner automatically switches on (usually
within 20/30 minutes).
