Cleaning indicator:
After a usage time of 40 h, the 888 lights up in the display.
This indicates that the filter must be cleaned immediately.
Manual filter cleaning:
1. Remove the filter cover: To do this, use the hook from the handle
of the supplied cleaning brush (in fig. to 8.) to carefully pull out the
grille of the filter cover.
2. Clean the filter with the supplied cleaning brush.
Automatic self-cleaning:
1. Switch the hairdryer off.
2. Press and hold (approx. 5 sec.) the speed button (+) to activate the self-cleaning
function (in fig. to 3.). The hairdryer blows air in the opposite direction through
the filter. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are free of obstacles.
3. The self-cleaning process takes 10 seconds. A countdown from 10 - 0 is shown
in the display.
4. After the end of the cleaning process, place the filter cover back on the protective
filter. The filter attachment locks into place magnetically.
