Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions fully before operating this product and keep
for future reference.
Warning: When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions, including the follow-
ing, should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
For safe operation:
1. Do not expose to rain.
2. Do not use in damp or wet locations.
3. Keep work area well lit
4. Do not use where there is risk of fire or explosion. For example: in the presence of explo-
sive dusts, liquids or vapours such as high concentrations of saw dust, grains or petrol fumes.
5. Never use to pick up harmful substances such as asbestos dust.
6. Do not pick up anything that is hot, burning or smouldering, such as cigarette or fire ash.

8. Always unplug the appliance when leaving unattended and when servicing
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been supervised or instructed in use by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
11. Never carry the tool by the cord or yank it to disconnect from the socket.
12. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
13. Do not overreach and keep proper footing and balance at all times.
14. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified persons, using original spare parts.
15. If the motor becomes louder check that the hoses, accessories or filter are not blocked.
16. Empty the dust tank and clean the filters regularly. Always check they are present and
installed correctly.
17. Only use manufacturers' recommended spares and accessories.
