STAINLESS STEEL EYEWASH STATION
TOOL NEEDED
Strap Wrench
NOTE: The use of a vice is recommended for
proper tightening and alignment.
IMPORTANT! All threads are tapered pipe and
require pipe joint compound or Teflon® tape to
ensure watertight connection. When securing
with Teflon® tape, wrap tape around each
thread 10-12 times for optimal seal.
1. Wrap Teflon® tape around threading of base
support unit (A).
2. Unscrew bottom connection pipe (B) from the
tee-joint. Wrap Teflon® tape around threading on
both ends and reassemble.
3. Connect bottom connection pipe (B) to the base
support unit (A).
4. Connect the eyewash basin drain set (C) to bottom
connection pipe (B).
5. Wrap Teflon® tape around threading on both ends
of the middle connection pipe (F).
6. Connect middle connection pipe (F) to the eyewash
basin drain set (C).
7. Unscrew top connection pipe (G) from the two
tee-joints. Wrap Teflon® tape around all threading
and reassemble.
8. Connect the top connection pipe (G) to the middle
connection pipe (F).
9. Unscrew all four pieces of the shower connecting
pipe set (J). Wrap Teflon® tape around threading of
both pipes on both ends and reassemble.
10. Take the shower connecting pipe set (J) and
connect to the side of the top tee-joint. Ensure the
square head plug is on top.
11. Attach the stainless steel pull rod (H) to the arm of
shower ball valve (I).
12. Wrap Teflon® tape around threading of the shower
head (K).
