4. Instructions for safe use of tool

Danger: danger of crimping tool or heavy components falling. Wear suitable
clothing and protective footwear!

Danger: if the piece, crimping tool or dies break, parts may be projected at
high speeds. Wear protective goggles with a high mechanical resistance (FT
categories) at all times!

Danger: failure to observe safety instructions places people's lives and health at
risk and may cause material damage to the machine or surrounding environment!

Danger:
never insert fingers or other body parts in tool head!

Danger: while the battery-operated hydraulic crimping tool is in operation, keep
other people, especially persons not involved in the work, well away from the
working area!

Danger: before using the battery-operated tool, make sure it is not damaged. Use
equipment only if it is in perfect working order!

Danger:
it is strictly prohibited to loosen screws or dismantle protective guards!

Danger: if a situation should occur while the tool is being operated which poses
persons or the device at risk, deactivate the crimping tool by removing the battery unit!

Danger:
for production assembly, use the shoulder strap provided!

Danger: before switching on the power tool, inspect the hazard area. The tool
may be put into operation only if the operator is sure there are no risks and all
persons have been moved away from the hazard area!

Danger: the crimping head is the only part of the tool that presents a mechanical
hazard!

Danger: Removing the battery and returning the tool to starting position is is the
only way to guarantee complete disconnection from the electricity supply!

Danger: while carrying out work at high altitude, take sufficient precautions
to prevent the tool from falling or being dropped. Where this is not possible, a
protective helmet must be worn!

Warning: in normal working conditions, the battery may only be removed after
safely switching off the APW30 battery-operated hydraulic crimping tool!

Warning: in the event of an emergency, the tool may be brought back to starting
position by just pressing the mechanical return button!
