1 General
1.1 Purpose of the instrument
The power level indicator is used to make a qualitative evaluation of a power
level reached.
It can thus be used to compare electrical powers available at the terminals of
different alternators rotated by:
-
a mechanical drive,
-
falling water,
-
an air jet.
It can thus:
-
demonstrate the generation of electricity by an alternator,
-
become familiar with parameters used in an «electricity power station», to
optimise the available power.

Reset the memorized maximum power indication
Inclination prop to improve visibility
Potentiometer to obtain a power level indicator adjustment at full
scale
Input voltage through Ø 4 mm safety bushings
Maximum input voltages: 30 VAC and 15 VDC
Housing for 6LR61 9 V battery (provided)
