2.2.6 Example use: Comparison of two powers
The output power levels from the reversible alternator (at no load) ref. 292 075
and the ecological lamp (at no load = incandescent lamp unscrewed), ref. 332
016 are evaluated, with the same sensitivity setting for the power level
indicator.
It is observed that more LEDs light up with the ecological lamp than with the
reversible alternator (no matter how fast it turns).
It is deduced that the ecological lamp alternator outputs a higher power than
the reversible alternator.
Explanations:
The former generates a high current and it can light a LED and an E10 bulb up
to 6 V / 3 W.
The latter generates sufficient current to light a LED but not enough to light up
an E10 type bulb.
We could ask the question: why is the power greater in one case than in the
other? We could then look for clues to the answer:

coils,

magnets,
-
rotor rotation speed,
-
etc.
