4. Press and hold the trigger. Now the temperature is measured by
the infrared sensor automatically and continuously. The display is
updated accordingly.
5. Press the laser key (8) to activate or deactivate the laser. When
the laser function is enabled the laser icon (14) appears on the
display. Each time the measuring trigger is pressed then, the
laser beam turns on and points at the measuring spot.
6. When the device is switched on, press the measuring unit switch
(10) to toggle the temperature unit between °C and °F.
 When you do not operate the infrared thermometer for more than
7 – 8 seconds, it automatically switches off.
Notes regarding the Measuring Distance
When the distance d to the object to be measured is increased, the
measuring radius r increases as well (the wider the distance to the
object to be measured is, the more imprecisely the measuring result
will be). The area to be measured / the object to be measured
should be bigger than the according measuring radius. If the object
to be measured is small, hold the thermometer close to the object.
