Operating the scanner
NOTE: Only one sheet of paper can be inserted into the scanner at a time. Trying to scan
more than one page at a time may cause scanner to malfunction.
Quick start guide

Make sure that the
scanner is turned on.

Slide the paper guide
against the right side of
the document.

Insert your document into
the scanner against the
left feeder edge. Make sure
your document is facing
up and the top edge of the
document is going into
the feeder slot first.

Gently push the document
into the feeder slot. Activate
the scan from the software
or press the scan button on
the scanner.
NOTE: Scan button only works with the
HP WorkScan software.
