6. Installation
a) Freestanding installation of camera
1. Connect the camera to the adapter (DC 8V 300mA) and then slide the power switch to the ON position. The
power indicator lights up.
Remarks
• In case of freestanding use, this camera can also operate on battery power (you will need the adapter in case of
wall mounting). Please insert 4 AAA-batteries in the camera. Respect the polarity indications.
• When the device is plugged it will be powered by the AC adapter instead of the batteries. If the camera is left
unused for a long period of time, please unplug the adapter and remove the batteries.
2. Rotate the camera to a suitable angle for surveillance.
b) Wall-mounting installation
The camera can also be mounted on the wall with the mounting bracket:
1. Hold the back panel firmly and then push the base down to remove the panel.
2. Drive two screws into the wall to match the screw holes in the bracket. Hang the bracket on the screws and attach
the camera to the bracket.
3. Connect the camera with the adapter. The power indicator lights up.
Note that the camera can only be powered with the AC converter in case of wall mounting.
c) Receiver Installation
1. Insert one of the two included lithium batteries in the battery compartment. Respect the polarity indications.
Remarks:
• The receiver can also be powered by adapter (DC 5V 2A)
• The charging process starts when the adapter is plugged in. The charge indicator lights up while the lithium
battery is being charged and turns off when charging is completed
• A full charge takes ± 3 hours and provides an autonomy of ± 70 minutes.
• Charge the battery fully before initial use to prolong its life.
• Do not burn or destroy the battery.
• Do not short-circuit the battery, it may cause fire or electroshocks
