- Unscrew the screw (6) at the end of the support rod (5).
- Insert the threaded end of the rod into the orifice on the base (1), close to the
roll (12). Replace the screw and tighten.
- Assembly of the seismograph weight (7) on the support rod (5) occurs in two
stages: first insert and slide the ring (10) on the vertical rod, then, insert the
hook (11) in the orifice located at the tip of the bar. Tighten the screw of the
ring by hand (1).
- Unwind the paper roll (12) and insert one end under the two guide strips (3)
of the inscription plate.
- Insert a pencil or felt-tip pen in the seismograph orifice.
