- Page 4 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE N OTE: Thoroughly flush the water supply line prior to installation. IMPORTANT! For proper installation, a nipple with a 1/2” NPT male thread extending between 3/8” (10mm) and 3/4”(19mm) beyond the finished wall is required. NOTE: The hole for the nipple should not be larger than 1” (25mm) in diameter.
