Reaktor 500 enables CO to be dissolved simply and effectively and without any loss, suppling the plants with the CO
2
dioxide) necessary for life.

Reaktor 500 can either be operated with the aquarium filter via a bypass system (included in the pack) or via a small

separate pump (e.g. Turbo Mini, max. 300 l/hr)
· suitable for aquaria up to 500 litres
Special instructions: Three parameters influence the capacity of a CO
a) the carbonate hardness of the aquarium water; the higher the carbonate hardness, the more CO
b) the water flow through the system; the more water passed through the CO
c) the diffusion space; the larger the space containing CO
Connection and set-up:
Safety:
1. Attach the enclosed suction cups to the reactor.
2. Fix the reactor to the inside of the aquarium wall in a clearly visible place.
3. Connect the outlet pipe of your CO
4. Use a suitable hose adaptor to attach to the existing water cycle (filter cycle) of your aquarium. When doing so, please observe
the relevant instructions for use. The enclosed black 8 mm hose for the water supply of the reactor can be connected to an
aquarium filter with the enclosed hose adapters (9/12 mm, 12/16 mm and 16/22 mm). Alternatively, or in the case of very
low-pressure filters, the reactor can be operated with a separate pump (e.g. the Dupla submersible pump Turbo Mini
(max. 300 l /h)). A suitable hose adapter for the 8 mm hose is enclosed with the Turbo Mini submersible pump.
5. Connect the outlet of the adapter to the hose inlet on the reactor with the black hose (Picture 1, Aqua).
