Before first use

• Remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels or
stickers from the unit.
• After unpacking, thoroughly clean both sides of the grill plate, spa-
tulas and raclette deep pans with warm water and mild dish soap.
• Place your appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
• On first use, pour a little cooking oil on the plate and trays, then wipe
off any excess with an absorbent kitchen towel.

Getting started

• Before each use , the cooking plate, the utensiles and any other com-
ponent that comes into contact with foodstuff must be washed.
• Ensure that the plate is stable, well positioned on the bottom of the
appliance.
• Unwind the cord completely and plug in the appliance.
• Plug the cord into the outlet - fig. 1.
• Position the cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not,
so that guests can move freely around the table without trip-
ping over it.
• If an extension cord is used, make sure to choose one of equivalent
diameter with with a grounded socket.
• Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the
power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
• Set the thermostat to the max position, the indicator will light up - fig.

• Allow appliance to pre-heat for 15 minutes without the trays.
