Keep any part of your body and/or clothing
away from the brake rotors during use or
adjustment to avoid serious injury and cuts.
Brake rotors reach very high temperatures
during use. Wait for the rotors to cool before
touching them.
Regularly check the condition of brake rotors
and pads. Worn or contaminated components
can cause loss of control, accidents and
serious injuries.
New brake pads require time to settle and
provide optimum braking performance. Be sure
to brake the bike several times on controlled
terrain to ensure that the new pads provide the
correct braking operation.
Always apply both front and rear brakes at the
same time, applying similar force to both for
optimum braking.
VISIBILITY
For your safety, install reflectors on the spokes
in times of reduced visibility.
TRANSPORT
Do not place objects or weight on the wheels
during transport.
If you are going to transport your wheels by
plane, release tire pressure.
USER MANUAL
When transporting your bicycle or wheels
outside of a vehicle, avoid direct exposure to
the sun for long periods of time.
The high temperatures of vehicle exhaust gases
may damage carbon tires. Avoid temperatures
above 80ºC. Keep a distance between the
exhaust pipe and the carbon wheels of no less
than 45 cm. If it is not possible to keep this
minimum distance, use protective elements that
separate the gases from the carbon rims.
When attaching the wheels to a bicycle rack, do
not overtighten the wheel fastening straps and
place elements to avoid direct contact of the
straps with the carbon rims.
STORAGE
If you are going to store your wheels for
periods longer than 1 month:
· Don't hang your carbon wheels from
hooks.
· Release tire pressure.
· Clean your wheels to avoid corrosion.
· Clean the tubeless fluid and clean the inside
of the rims to avoid corrosion.
OQUO WHEELS
INTENDED USE AND
MAXIMUM WEIGHT
OF THE SYSTEM
The different models of OQUO wheels have
been designed and tested for different styles
of cycling. Always limit the use of a wheel mo-
del to its lower category or categories.
The use of a model in conditions of
higher categories for which it was
designed can significantly reduce its
useful life, as well as cause damage
to materials that can lead to acci-
dents and serious injuries.
Damage to the wheels caused by
NOTICE
use outside of the proper category
may result in damage to components
that are not covered by the warranty
conditions.
CATEGORIES OF USE
See the conditions of use of OQUO wheels in
the table included in this section. Regardless
of the wheel model category, limit the use of
the bicycle on which they are mounted to the
category of use of the bicycle model on which
they are mounted.
