4.6. Bearing and Seal Replacement
WARNING
Adjustment should be made by a dealer or a
competent mechanic.
The following steps refer to one bearing and seal.
However, all bearings and seals follow the same procedure
for installation and removal.
1. Raise the ATV off the ground.
WARNING
When the ATV is raised, make sure that it is properly
secured/supported to prevent it from accidentally
falling during the installation of the tracks. If not
properly secured/supported, serious physical injury
could occur.
2. Remove the track following the procedure described
in section 4.1. - Track replacement.
3. Remove the assembled structure from the main axle
following the procedure described in section 4.2. -
Sprocket and main axle replacement.
4. Replace bearings and seals. Use caution not to
damage the aluminum structure.
5. To reassemble the kit, reverse the steps and apply
the torque listed in Table 1 - Specifications of the
tightening torque.
4.7. Aluminum Link Replacement

The following steps refer to one aluminum link. However,
all aluminum links follow the same procedure for
installation and removal.
1. Raise the ATV off the ground.
WARNING
When the ATV is raised, make sure that it is properly
secured/supported to prevent it from accidentally
falling during the installation of the tracks. If not
properly secured/supported, serious physical injury
could occur.
2. Remove the track following the procedure described
in section 4.1. - Track replacement.
3. Remove the plastic structure assembly from the
main axle following the procedure described in
section 4.2. - Sprocket and main axle
replacement.
4. To remove the aluminum link, unscrew and
withdraw the six
well as the six embossed discs.
5. Remove aluminum link from plastic structure.
ATTENTION : The aluminum link has a press fit with
the plastic structure, therefore take caution not to
damage the plastic structure while performing this
operation.
6. Replace aluminum link and reassemble it on plastic
structure use longer bolts to seat the plastic onto the
aluminum link (buy locally). Tighten each bolt
following the order shown on the Figure 16.
