Charging a Battery (not connected in a vehicle)
1. Check the polarity of the battery.
2. Connect the red quick clamp (5) to the plus pole and the black
quick clamp (6) to the minus pole of the battery.
3. Insert the power plug of the battery charger into a socket.
Select Charging Mode and Charging Times
Charging Mode B for small Batteries 14.4 V/0.8 A
(e. g. in motorbikes at normal conditions)
Battery Size 2 Ah
Battery Size 8 Ah
Charging Mode C for large Batteries 14.4 V/3.8 A
(e. g. MF batteries and the most GEL batteries used in
vehicles at normal conditions)
Battery Size 20 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx. 4.5 hours
Battery Size 60 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx. 14 hours
Battery Size 100 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx. 23 hours
Battery Size 120 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx. 28 hours
Charging Mode D for large Batteries 14.7 V/3.8 A
(in vehicles at temperatures below 0°C as well as
for AGM batteries)
Battery Size 60 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx. 14 hours
Battery Size 100 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx 23 hours
Battery Size 120 Ah Charging up to approx. 80% in approx 28 hours
