4. HOW TO COMMUNICATE
- USB connection requires FACOM software and a PC or tablet running Windows 7 or greater.
- Software can be downloaded from the FACOM website.
5. CALIBRATION
This sensor is a precision measuring device. It is supplied calibrated and certi ed. In order to maintain accuracy this
sensor should be calibrated in line with the relevant quality standards, not exceeding 12 months.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

ATTENTION:
One-year periodic recalibration is necessary to maintain accuracy.
CAUTION:
1. Over-torque (110% of Max. torque range) could cause breakage or lose accuracy.
2. Keep work area clean.
3. Do not use the torque sensor with impact or impulse tools.
4. Ensure that components are properly connected before using torque sensor.
5. Do not use organic solvents, such as alcohol or paint thinner when cleaning the torque sensor.
6. Do not use unpermitted sockets or accessories.
7. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the torque sensor. It may damage torque sensor.
8. Do not permit unauthorized personnel to operate the torque sensor.
9. Wear proper clothing to avoid loose articles being caught in moving parts.
10. When not in use, torque sensor should be stored in the supplied protective case.
7. GUARANTEE
These FACOM sensors are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase against any defect or manufacturing fault. FACOM
accessories and wear parts, charger and batteries are covered by the legally enforced guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover the following cases: normal wear, non compliance of instructions of use and safety guidelines, non-
conventional or abusiveuse of the tool, tool overloading, lack of servicing or maintenance, intrusion of foreign bodies, tools which
have been disassembled or modi ed, or featuring traces of shock (dents, cracks or broken covers...), use with poor quality or non
compatible accessories.
To use the guarantee, provide: the tool with its serial number as well as the legible and unmarked original invoice designating the
product and its date of purchase. Detailed conditions of application of the guarantee: call your distributor.
8. SERVICE AND REPAIR
This sensor is not user serviceable. For service or repair please contact FACOM customer service.
