Setting the ANCILLARY dials
When setting any of the Ancillary Dials, the movement can be
stopped for better accuracy; in order to do so, unscrew the Main
Crown by turning it anti-clockwise from position 0 to position 1
without pulling it. Gently pull out the Main Crown to position 2
and then to position 3. The Second hand will stop moving. Then
proceed as follows:
1) Unscrew the Ancillary Crown of the Ancillary Dial that needs to be set
by turning the Ancillary Crown anti-clockwise from position 0 to position
1 without pulling it.
2) Gently pull out the Ancillary Crown to position 2 and turn it anti-
clockwise in order to set the time: hour and minute hands will move
forward. Always move the hands forward when setting the time. If
the hands are accidentally moved backward, then always move them
forward-advancing them (of) at least 30 minutes on the dial- before
finishing setting the time.
When finished setting the time, gently push the Ancillary Crown back to
position 1 and then gently push and screw it in completely into position 0.
Repeat step 1) and 2) for any Ancillary Dial to be set.
When finished setting the time of any Ancillary Dial, gently push the Main
Crown back to position 1 and then gently push and screw it in completely
into position 0. Further adjustments are possible without stopping the
movement.
