Intended Use
The product is suitable for use as a magnifying lens.
The product is NOT a substitute for a normal visual aid with a
prescription. Do not use the product on public roads.
The product is NOT a pair of safety goggles. It is not suitable for
use as eye protection against hazards.
The product is designed for personal use only and is not in-
tended for commercial applications.
Use the product only for the intended purpose and as described
in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
SAFETY NOTICES
WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and ani-
mals away from the packaging material.
WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries
can be fatal if swallowed. Do not leave small children unsu-
pervised with the product. They could take out the batteries. If
a battery is swallowed, immediate medical attention must be
sought.
CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery
leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid and wear
protective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse
the affected areas with abundant fresh water straight away and
seek medical assistance immediately.
The product is not a toy! Keep children and animals away from
the product to prevent injuries.
If any complaints arise during use, take off the product
immediately.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of
different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
Remove the batteries when they are dead or if you will not be
using the product for a prolonged period. This will prevent any
damage caused by leaks.
Remove a battery which has leaked immediately and clean the
contacts.
The batteries must not be charged or reactivated in any way,
disassembled, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or short-
circuited.
Protect the product from: impacts, water or other liquids, mois-
ture, heat, direct sunlight and frost.
Do not use the product if it has visible signs of damage.
Do not make any changes to the product and do not attempt
to repair it. Contact the customer service department if there is
any damage.
The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
Do not use any cleaning agents or rough sponges for cleaning.
These may damage the surfaces. If necessary, wipe down the
product with a conventional lens cleaning cloth or a damp, soft
cloth.

Use
Replacing the Batteries
The battery compartments are located on each arm of the glasses.
1. Slide the battery compartment cover out of the arm of the glass-

To switch on an LED, slide the switch on the arm of the glasses
towards the lenses. To switch it off, slide the switch back again.
The product can be worn on its own or over prescription glass-
es or contact lenses.
The product should be worn on the tip of the nose, do NOT
wear it in the same position as normal glasses to protect
the eyes.
If the product is worn over prescription glasses, leave a space
between the product and the glasses.
Hold the object which is to be magnifi ed approx. 30 – 40 cm
away from the product. Vary the distance until the object is in
focus.
If the performance of an LED diminishes, the batteries need to
be replaced.

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the product
and disposed of separately from the product at suitable col-
lection points.
The product is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/
EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Do not dispose of it as normal domestic waste, but rather
in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially ap-
proved waste disposal company.
