Terminal mode / Locking mode
The terminal is operated in a locking mode.
Locking cycle: when an authorised user key
stick is held in front of the terminal, it releases
the locking unit for a certain period of time
(open time) which can be set in advance. Dur-
ing this time, it is possible to open the locking
unit. Following this, the terminal re-locks the
locking unit again automatically..

The terminal is operated in alternating mode
(toggle mode).
Alternating mode: the first time an authorised
user key stick is held in front of the terminal, it
releases the locking unit. The terminal re-locks
the locking unit again only when an authorised
user key stick is held in front of it again.
