Note: lock valid for use in a humid environment (tested
over 600 hours in a humid and salty chamber)
INSTALLATION AND CHANGE OF BATTERIES
When the batteries are running low, a red led light will turn on.
It is recommended to replace the batteries when the red
light comes on for 5 consecutive openings. It may be the
case that the red light comes on in isolation in some openings;
this does not mean that the battery is near depletion. Keep
in mind that the expected useful life of a good quality new
battery is a minimum of 2,000 openings.
Note: If the batteries have run out, the established opening
codes are NOT deleted.
ATTENTION: the first time you use the safe after changing the
battery you will hear a noise. It's just an internal adjustment
to lock the safe.
EMERGENCY OPENING
The CE4000 lock comes with a USB key for emergency
opening.
IMPORTANT: Keep the USB stick in a safe place and make
a note of its reference number, so that you can use it if you
need a copy.
