INSTRUCTIONS
Check underneath the vehicle to ensure you will clear support channels and fuel lines
Always measure truck and trailer before installing hitch to be sure that there is clearance at the cab and at the bumper to allow turns.
Check the parts in the kit to become familiar with them.
1. Raise rear of the truck high enough to allow jack stands to be placed under the rear spring hanger brackets. This will provide maximum room to
install the brackets.
2. Do not install mounting rails over plastic bed liners. Plastic bed liners must be cut out of the way to provide metal to metal contact. Base rails
may be installed on spray in bed liner.
3. Drill all holes with 1/ 8" drill bit and enlarge them with 17/ 32" drill bit. Always use sharp drill bits. A 1/ 8" pilot hole will greatly speed drilling
larger holes.
4. Use only bolts and nuts supplied to install this kit. All hardware is grade 5 unless otherwise specified.
5. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE GUIDELINES ONLY, ACTUAL INSTALLATION IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER AND THE
OWNER.
6. To prevent the trailer from hitting the cab with the trailer turned 90 degrees, the center of the hitch should be at least 52" from the back of the
cab. Reference dimensions have been provided in the instruction sheet. Short box trucks have less than the recommended 52" of clearance.
7. When installing the mounting rails, use the saddles to set spacing. This allows installation of gooseneck or other 5TH wheels into these rails.
