Installation and Use

Minimum Substrate Requirements:
Concrete: 6" x 4,000 psi (152,4 mm x 27,6 Mpa)

Do not install on wood substrates.

Concrete Substrates:
Step 1
Using a 5/8" concrete drill bit, drill a hole
into the base material to a depth of at least
5" (127 mm) and 9" (229 mm)away from any
edge.
Step 2
Blow the hole clean of dust and other material.
Step 3
Drive the bolt through the swivel anchor into
the hole until the bolt head is firmly seated
against the fixture.
Step 4
Tighten the anchor by turning the head 3
to 4 turns past finger tight. Torque bolt to a
maximum of 100 ft-lb (135,6 Nm).

Structural Steel:
Step 1
Using a 11/16" drill bit, drill a hole through the
structural steel at least 3" (76,2 mm) away
from any edge.
Step 2
Install the bolt through the swivel anchor
and hole. Tighten nut on back side until the
bolt head is firmly seated against the fixture.
Use tapered washer with I-beams that have
tapered flanges to firmly seat the swivel
anchor.
Step 3
Torque bolt to a maximum of 100 ft-lb (135,6 Nm).
Welding:
Swivel Anchor Weld-On Puck must be
installed by an American Welding Society
(AWS) certified welder in accordance with
all applicable welding regulations.
Note: Alternative installation means to be
allowed only by a qualified person or a
professional engineer capable of determining
loads, design criteria, and equivalencies.
