lower the temperature, the fabric type on the LCD panel will flash, indicating the soleplate is
cooling down.
3. To return to stand by mode, hold the temperature button for more than 3 seconds. The backlight
will change colour and the buzzer will beep once, indicating that the stand by mode is activated.
4. If the LCD panel displays (ERR 1), flashes, and beeps continuously, do not press any button until
you unplug the appliance. Wait for the soleplate to cool down and plug the iron in again. If the
LCD panel still shows the error status, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
LCD screen
Note: after setting the temperature, the backlight of the LCD will become duller if the button
is not pressed within 30 seconds. The backlight will change colour when the iron is in stand
by status and auto power-off status.
Dry ironing
Fill the iron as described in 'How to fill with water'.
1. Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
2. Place the iron vertically and set the temperature with the temperature buttons according to the
international symbols on the label of the piece of clothing. The LCD will flash while the iron preheats.
3. Once the LCD panel stops flashing, you can start ironing.
WARNING: if you lower the temperature after ironing at a high temperature, do not start
ironing until the soleplate cools down to the selected temperature.
