• Press button (D) to confirm the maximum temperature setting and
return to the initial operating screen: the new data settings now
appear at the top of the screen.
5.3 REACHING THE HUMIDITY OR MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE
SETPOINT
When the humidity or maximum temperature setpoint is reached,
the dehumidifier cuts out, interrupting the dehumidification cycle
(stand-by) and the following symbol appears on the screen:
The electronic control automatically restarts the dehumidification
cycle once the relative humidity in the room rises to a value 2%
higher than the setpoint, or when the room temperature falls 2°C
below the setpoint.
If, for example, you set the desired values:
Relative humidity: 45% HR
Maximum temperature: 24°C
the dehumidifier cuts out when the temperature reaches 24°C even
if the humidity is still above 45% HR and only restarts automatically
when the temperature drops below 23 °C.
5.4 OPERATION OUTSIDE THE OPERATING HUMIDITY AND
TEMPERATURE RANGE
The electronic control for the DR 2021 only enables its use within a
set ambient humidity and temperature range:
• humidity: between 20% and 99%
• temperature: between +4°C and +40°C
If the dehumidifier operates in an environment with humidity and
temperature values outside the specified operating range, the
dehumidification cycle stops and, on the screen, the "OUT OF
RANGE" message appears while the humidity or temperature value
that caused this condition flashes.
Warning
When the "OUT OF RANGE" message appears on the
screen (humidity or room temperature outside the
operating range), the dehumidification cycle stops while
the fan continues running for 30 minutes. At the end of 30
minutes, the fan stops as well.
5.5 COUNTER
Press button (B) and keep it pressed for 5 seconds to call up the
screen for the two available hour counters:
• RESETTABLE COUNTER (left)
L-L 309.00-BM
EN
• To reset this counter, press button (D) and keep it pressed for 5
seconds: the counter is reset and starts counting once more
from zero
• CUMULATIVE COUNTER (right)
• This hour counter cannot be reset and gives information on
machine operating life.
Warning
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the electronic
control returns to the previous screen without saving the
settings entered.
5.6 SWITCHING THE UNIT OFF AND AUTO CUT-OUT
To switch off the dehumidifier, press button (C) and keep it pressed
for 2 seconds.
To set automatic cut-out:
• Press button (A) and keep it pressed for 5 seconds to call up
automatic cut-out settings page
• Press button (A) or (B) to set the number of hours after which you
wish the machine to cut out
• Press button (C) to confirm the set value
• Press button (D) and keep it pressed for 2 seconds to return to the
initial operating screen.
Warning
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the electronic
control returns to the previous screen without saving the
settings entered.
5.7 DIAGNOSTICS
The electronic control system detects and constantly monitors the
refrigeration circuit parameters, displaying a warning on the screen
if a failure occurs. The different types of failures are described in
Chapter 10 - "TROUBLESHOOTING".
5.8 DRIP PAN FULL
The drip pan has a magnetic float. If the maximum admissible level
is reached, this float causes the dehumidifier to cut out, an acoustic
signal is emitted and the following symbol appears on the screen:
To resume the dehumidification cycle, simply remove the drip pan,
empty it and then reposition it.
Even if the condensate drainage kit (chap. 4.3) is installed, the
magnetic float still operates, signalling when the drip pan is full
following a drain malfunction.
5.9 DRIP PAN PRESENT
If the drip pan is not inserted, the dehumidifier will not operate.
A magnetic contact monitors presence of the drip pan, thus
ensuring that no condensation water can be spilled outside or on
the floor.
An acoustic signal warns of a failure and the following symbol
appears on the screen:
